Category: Zone BBS Suggestions and Feedback
Sometimes, but not always, when I attempt to post a reply to a topic, I get the following message:
Unable to add alert: : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'http://www.zonebbs.com/boards.php?t=6491">View it now"' at line 2
this has happened to me twice so far, and I was posting to different topics both times. also, I found that when I went back to try again, my reply had, in fact, already been posted. so I don't understand why I'm getting an error message.
similar the happening have I experianced from time to time
I have flagged this to the admins, so hopefully someone will be able to clarify more.
Do any of you know which specific topic you were posting to?
it happens with any given topic, I've found...but does, in fact, post your reply even though an error message is given.
I've received a similar error message when trying to go to the next or previous page on any board topics with multiple pages of posts...
Both times, I was posting to a topic on Game parler. I did notice that. However, I'm not sure if it's specific to that category, or if this has happened to others on other topics as well.
Oh, that sort of thing has happened to me on several different board categories (pardon the spelling please...)
